I was glad to be able to visit recently with Angie at one of our MCHS dinners at Harry's Stone Grill.  She was such a sweet person.  Even though she was in a lot of pain, she never complained and was thankful to be able to visit with everyone.  She made the best of her situation and had a certain light shining on her face.  We talked about school and growing up in Madison, and I found out that she had worked at Conn Organ with my mother, Vera Cheatham

The most important part of the conversation with Angie was that I found out that she believed in Jesus.  She had strong faith and knew that someday she would see her family in heaven.  May she rest in peace now because she is in heaven with Jesus and her family.

Jim and I played on the tennis team in High School.  He worked hard at being a competitive tennis player.  Jim was a good person.  It is sad to think he is no longer with us.  Rest in peace, Jim.

Growing up in Madison, I was very fortunate to have a group of close friends.  My heart aches for the recent loss of one of them, David Lee.

I have know David for 55 years.  So many fond memoreis of the things we did from Junior High, through High School, and into adulthood.  My life is better because of Dave.

Dave was a big influence on me becoming a Christian.  This was the most important decision of my life.  We talked about Jesus, he invited me to Church, and eventually I accepted the Lord Jesus as my Savior.  It was fitting that I was baptized on November 5th, which is David's birthday.

Over the years we kept in touch.  Whenever we got together, we always had a good time.  We still had heart to heart talks about all kind of things, but we especially liked reminiscing about the time in High School with our classmates in the Class of 69.

Rest in peace, my friend, in your heavenly home until we see each other again.

I fondly remember his infectious laugh, he always seemed to have that great big smile on his face.  We will miss you Dave.  RIP.

Wish all a super 2018 to do what you want when you want. Most of all stay active, be healthy, and party like it's 1969 ! ! ! Can't wait to see all at the next big reunion, thanks to all that are close and working to make it happen.
