Roxianne Nicklaus Wells was born Jan. 28th 1951 and was a friend of mine for 18 yrs. Our Mothers shared the same room when we were born and we lived 1 house apart for the first 12 years of our lives. She died on Oct. 4th, 1969 in a car wreck. She was 9 months pregrent with her first child. She has been greatly missed by her brother and sisters as well as myself.
When my parents sold the farm at Canaan when I was 14 and moved to Madison they bought a house that was two doors from Roxannes. (better known as Rocky) She became my best friend and we spent all of our time at each others houses. She was Beatles crazy and so was I. We loved to play with the oija board and held seances in her backyard. That girl did make me laugh. She was my dear beautiful friend and she is still missed to this day. She was killed in a car accident the same year we graduated.
