I don't think there are many people who didn't like Keith. When he was in 6th grade he was in the school play. He tumbled across the E.O. Muncie gym floor and then sang "Be a Clown" from the movie "Singing in the Rain". It was pretty spectacular. I was in the chorus...

Keith passed in the same manor as our son, Brandon. As is often the case, the most depressed people are the ones with the outside appearance of being the least depressed. I remember Keith for the fun times and his gentle spirit, and truly believe severe depression can bring on a natural death.

Keith and I were great friends. We worked together at Scotts 5&10 on the hilltop. He worked in the stock room and I stocked the shelves. We had a great time together. He let me drive his Triump Convertible because I was the only girl he knew who could drive a stick shift. He was so much fun and although I didn't see him much after high school, I miss you Keith.

Keith was a member of the wild bunch. He,Dale Behymer, Mike Dunn, Luther Dyer, Jim Higgins, Keith Hoskins, Jim Lock, Jim Mudd, Ron Thomas, I and others ran amuck on the hilltop during our formative years.

Keith was with me when I suffered my first major accident. He dragged me off the road in a blizzard after the '63 Sectional. For that I will be forever grateful.

One fond memory is the time his parents came home early and busted him for hosting an unapproved party. Some of you were there, you know who you are. Because they knew me, I was volunteered to stay and help clean up. What a mess! We had trashed the place.

Sadly, I lost touch with Keith through the years and I regret that. Perhape I could have helped.

Keith is fondly missed by me, his sister Anita, and many others. May he rest in peace.

Keith lived life OUTLOUD! It was as though he didn't expect to be around the next day!

Keith was so very, very, funny; he’d keep you in stitches and get you in trouble. In chemistry class he was my bench partner and he kept destroying our experiment, but no matter what, I just couldn’t stay mad at Keith (but our chemistry teacher – not so much!)

I went to our junior prom with Keith! He had borrowed his brother-in-law’s NEW car for the occasion. We had a blast! Afterwards, on our way to one of the after-prom parties somewhere out in the country on one of those winding country roads that we had no business driving on, we missed a curve and hit a tree. It was pitch black and we couldn’t see a thing, so when a couple finally came down that lonely road, Keith truly thought they could just pull us out. But soon, along came the deputy sheriff (who will remain nameless) who shall I say, knew Keith very well! Keith thought for sure he was “going up the river this time”! Thankfully the deputy had the other couple take us to the hospital, where Keith kept the emergency department in stitches (no pun intended)! The next day, we went back out to the accident, only to find that the Good Lord had been watching over us the night before – a few more inches and we would have been over the cliff and into a deep ravine! A discovery like that will hush your heart for long long while!

Keith – I don’t think you ever knew how many hearts you touched with your constant laughter! We all love and miss you very much!
